My name is Elvis Torres and I'm a freelance graphic designer. After graduating high school I enlisted in the US Army 2007-2015 and served as a Psychological Operations Specialist, I also served one tour of duty in Afghanistan from 2009-2010. I started my career as a self-taught entrepreneur in 2016 doing work for local businesses in the Cleveland area.
Since then I have worked with hundreds of small businesses across the United States. I enjoy connecting with fellow entrepreneurs to develop effective visual communication for their businesses. In 2018 I made the choice to return to school for formal training. In 2020 I graduated from Cuyahoga Community College as Magna Cum Laude with my Associate of Arts Degree. Following Tri-C, I transferred to Kent State University, there I was the lead graphic designer for the Kent State Student Media department. I graduated as Magna Cum Laude in December 2024 with my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Visual Communication Design.
